Following supermarket offers is a must in Belgium. And when you follow them closely, like we do to make these meal plans, you notice how they work in unison.

Last week's offers were nothing great. Now this week, Colruyt is offering clients €10 off a €100 shop (if you bought something last week). Meanwhile Delhaize is competing with a host of good promotions across the board.

That makes some weeks more affordable than others, mostly thanks to supply fluctuations, marketing campaigns, and the seasonality of produce. All in all, it averages out and lets us keep that total grocery spend of ~€25 a week. And next Monday-Friday is one of the more affordable weeks.

Next workweek, make all lunches and dinners for two people for €21.50 per person. That's just €1.07 a portion.
